亞洲比中南美洲種植咖啡的時間更早,主要聚集於東南亞種植,而其普遍苦味高、後味帶鹹的特性也令大眾對東南亞區咖啡豆愛好兩極。
主要教學內容:
1. 印尼:九成以上為羅布斯塔原種,但在蘇門答臘的曼特寧和安卡拉是極少數的阿拉比卡原生種,尤其曼特寧,醇厚猶如糖漿的潤滑,是在牙買加藍山咖啡未出現前的世界極品。
2. 越南:羅布斯塔豆的最大生產國,經長時間高溫烘烤,味道濃烈、酸度低,多作為混合豆或即溶咖啡。
3. 印度:獨特的邁索爾咖啡屬於阿拉比卡咖啡豆,顆粒大、醇厚濃郁裡帶有辛辣味,還有中等至飽滿的酒味與低酸度中和,亦是世界聞名的優質咖啡。
