Professional Training
Since the inception of the Digital Education Institute (DEI) in nearly 30 years ago, DEI has trained and provided more than 350,000 professionals in the areas of “Information and Communication Technologies”, “Digital Contents”, “Information Technology Enabled Services” and the “Operations and Management”. The impact pervades all governmental, academic and industrial sectors. Together, these graduates constitute a main stream of professional resources in ICT domains.

About e-Learning
The Executive Yuan launched the “National Science and Technology Program for e-Learning” in 2002 to leverage our existing strength in the IT industry and enhance our national competitiveness. Following that, the Industrial Development Bureau, Ministry of Economic Affairs actively initiated the “e-Learning Industry Promotion and Development Plan”, which is executed by III, in hopes of guiding the e-Learning industry, helping businesses improve their competitiveness through e-Learning, gaining a global perspective and eventually creating an e-Learning country.
